Spring green today!  I got up and walked the dog and was glad to see it was not as cold as they previously predicted.  It was about 44 overnight, not 34.  So, our trees and flowers survived just fine!

Today, besides the usual work,  the kids spent time working on Grammar and Reading skills.  They found some cool games on www.everythinghomeschooling.com and had a ball testing their skills.  Wes declared "Grammar  Gorilla" coolest name for an educational game ever.

Maddie and Tyler had piano and Wes and I watched a bit of the Kentucky and Vanderbilt basketball game that was on late last night.  From 15 up to 1 down, and the final three minutes of torture that almost gave me a heart attack last night, we were glad the Cats pulled out a win.

I went to a local Consignment store and to get a cup of peach flavored green tea from 4:00-4:30.  Sometimes the simplest things can make the days special, can't they?

So, what have you done that made your day simply wonderful today?

Today's workout:  Amy Dixon Kickin' Strength (intervals of cardio and sculpting with moderate weights); Arms of Steel Yoga Flow (lovely yoga practice incorporating a band to stretch and tone the muscles).  At only 10 minutes, it was the perfect ending to my workout.  Oh, and of course, my dog walk!
